You may determine that you need to change or update your registration details. This may include the changing the Map Marker’s location, the sensor’s name, or a change between placing it indoors or outdoors, among other choices.
To change/update registration details, you need to resubmit the registration form. You must use the same Associated Email, as well as Owner’s Email, that was entered upon original registration. The most efficient way to do this is to find your original registration confirmation email from PurpleAir. Under the section titled “Useful Links”, you’ll see “Modify this registration”. By clicking the link that follows, you’ll be taken to PurpleAir’s registration page. Your original registration information will be populated for you. Now change any information that needs updating and then click Register. If you can’t locate the original registration email, reenter your registration information (including updates).
If a location update may impact the historical data of the sensor, please proceed here to archive your data before reregistering.
Change/Update Email
Once a sensor is registered, only PurpleAir can update the Associated Email or Owner’s Email. Please contact us, and we’ll gladly update the information.
If you’re not the sensor’s original owner, contact us before registration. When registering your sensor, you’ll need to enter the email address of the person who purchased the sensor in the Associated Email field. You’ll enter your preferred email address in the Owner’s Email field.
