I noticed a whining noise coming from the sensor; I unplugged it and replugged it in (<30s though), and the tone/cadence of the whining/vibration changed, but it’s still there.
Is this normal?
The sensor (Flex) was installed in August.

The whining noise is something we have had a couple of reports of, but it definitely isn’t common. If you could send a video (with audio) of the sensor to contact@purpleair.com so that we could take a look we would appreciate it.
Same here… noisy fan. Powering down even overnight doesn’t solve it. I don’t know whether to trust the readings now with an intermittent air flow.
