I’m considering taking my Zen to places with 220-240V, 50 Hz electrical service. I know that I need plug adapters.
Do I need a voltage adapter, too?
Will my device be affected by the change in frequency (Hertz)?

The easiest thing may be to just buy a USB-A adapter for the country you are going to (or a travel USB-A adapter, if you’ll be going to several). The power supply to the Zen itself is just the standard 5V DC.
Purpleair sells them at USB Power Adaptor 5V 12W (2.4A) | Indoor Power Adapter | PurpleAir , but you can also find similar on Amazon, etc.
The Purple Air sensor uses 5 volts supplied thru a USB connector from a power supply (that you currently use).
The power supply is most likely already compatible with 220/ 50Hz. Check the label of the power supply. 99% of them are universal.
You WILL need an adapter plug, which is about $1.00. I would buy 20 of them.
