You’ve connected to the PurpleAir-**** network and have waited a few moments. However, for some reason the pop-up window (captive portal) does not open immediately after the connection. Follow this guide to connect your PurpleAir sensor to your preferred, local or personal, WiFi network.
The **** is a 2-4 character code determined by your sensor.
Accessing the Sensor’s Hotspot Login Page
Open a new tab in a web browser. This should display a page (Sensor’s Hotspot Login Page) onto which you can enter your WiFi details to connect your sensor. Alternatively, open a new tab in a web browser and enter the default IP address for the sensor in the address bar: http://192.168.4.1/config
This will only work if you are connected to the device’s PurpleAir-**** WiFi network. If you’re doing this on your phone, you may need to first disable your mobile data.
