My 2019 PA sensor is offline - help troubleshooting?

My unit suddenly went offline about a week ago, after running without event for years. The red LED comes on and the fans run, but the device does not broadcast a WiFi network and simply stopped connecting to my WiFi network. There were no events on my network that I’m aware of and no power outages.

I’ve looked over the community postings online and have downloaded the PurpleAir Utility onto my Windows laptop. I’ve connected the device with a micro-USB cable. The red LED comes on and the fans run but no serial port is recognized. Below is a screenshot of the utility, it says loading but never changes from this state.

I’m running Windows 11 on a ~2-year-old system so I expected the required USB drivers were already installed but tried to download the drivers offered by the utility just in case. I got this message, so I believe it’s not a driver issue
“The drive is successfully Pre-installed in advance!”

I’ve sent this message to Purple Air 4 days ago, and aside from a machine generated response, no one has come back yet. It may just be that PA staff is backlogged by many days or weeks, I don’t know but meanwhile any suggestions are welcome!
