Logging into the map is separate from logging into the community. You can use the same email for the community and the map if the email is a Google-associated email address. However, logging into one does not log you into the other.
To log into the map, you must use a google associated account. You can learn more information here: Q: How do I log in to the PurpleAir map?.
The community uses Discourse. If you already have an account with Discourse, you can use that login. If you don’t have a Discourse account, you can create an account using any email address.
