Is there a way to static ip a zen sensor for deployment on an air gapped network? That way I can manually record sensor readings via the sensors address if that is even possible.
The setting to assign a static IP address usually done in the router, not the device. Do you have admin control of your router?
No but I know the admin.
Are sensor readings simply listening to a port on the ip address?
I’m not knowledgeable about the ports.
But setting a static IP address is fairly straightforward. The exact steps to establish one vary depending on the manufacturer and the age. In general, it’s usually buried a few levels deep in a category like Advanced or DHCP. Best luck to you and your admin
