WiFi connection

I’m having trouble connecting our sensor to a home network. It will connect briefly and then is dropped.

The network is configured with “high security” and describes Blocking of pre-defined traffic in per Blocked Services settings. Blocking of pre-defined traffic out per Blocked Services settings including DNS. And it is set in a ‘stealth mode’ which prevents unsolicited WAN traffic. Could those be getting in the way? If so, can I ask the host to adjust some settings to allow the sensor to connect?

Hi @NCArens

It sounds like the host probably has some pretty defined restrictions set in place on their network. You’ll want to ask them to do one of two things

  1. If they can just ‘whitelist’ the sensor on their network, that should solve any issues.
  2. They can also ensure the sensor is allowed to communicate with the hostnames and ports listed in this article.
