Installing an outdoor sensor. Wifi shows up called AirMonitor_4381. It tried to connect, but it say’s Unable to Join the network (mentioned above). Put in browser http://192.168.4.1/config. Unable to connect.
Hi @ARA_Rob_Fisher, you’ll first need to successfully connect to the AirMonitor_4381 WiFi network before using http://192.168.4.1/config.
Try following the steps in our WiFi Troubleshooting Guide for Connecting to the Sensor’s WiFi Network.
Thanks for the reply. I’ve not seen one show up as “AirMonitor_****” before. It THAT OK?
It still says “No Internet Connection”
The AirMonitor_**** WiFi name indicates that your sensor is on an older firmware version. The listed troubleshooting steps should still work, but message me the device ID, and I’ll double-check its firmware version.
Saying that the WiFi network doesn’t have an internet connection is expected, as you’re connecting directly to your sensor. Does your device indicate that it’s connected to AirMonitor_**** even though it doesn’t have internet, or does your device automatically reconnect to your home WiFi?
