my sensor is the one that shows the color red/green/etc for the particulate count [Zen]. For the first couple weeks, it worked. Then it started flashing a rainbow of colors, and would sometimes work normally after unplugging and plugging back in. Now, a couple weeks later it only blinks in a mix of colors all at once even if unplugged and plugged back in. So it gives no color reading since it is always flashing a mix of colors. I can’t use it any more because the colors are so distracting, like a disco night show or something, and it so distracting we can’t sleep as the lights flash through our windows. The sensor is pretty expensive and we paid for the most expensive one. I am assuming we need a new sensor as this one malfunctions. Is this correct? I saw one other person with this topic who had 170 views but no one answered regarding what is going on, and Purple Air didn’t respond either. Any help appreciated, thanks.
Same here, installed the Zen about month and a half ago and about a week ago doing the Xmas tree flashing all colors on a constant basis. Had a heck of a time just shutting off the lights. Paid extra for the lights, but now not so cool, kind of disappointing to say the least. Will be trying to connect with PurpleAir for fix or replacement.
