SD card not detected after removal and putting back in

Hi,

Our PA-II-FLEX 7.04 has been running with no issues for several months.

Now we have issue that in the map.purpleair.com it shows that SD logger is not detected.

In mid November I disconnected power cable from the device and removed SD card to download data. All data was present in the SD card.

Then put SD card back in and put back power cable. In SD card location blue and green lights started blinking. Eventually only red light was on.
I pushed SD card out and in again, but same result. I formatted SD card FAT32 and put it back in the device, same issue still. Card works fine in PC.

We use 32GB Sandisk memory card

This week I connected PC with the PurpleAir sensor and opened PurpleAir Tools. I selected COM3 port and clicked Connect. In below, it showed Connected. Then I clicked SD Data Tool. There was no files on the SD card. In open window, it searched for updated and said no update. I put that SD card directly on my PC and it included only log files named LOG00023-LOG00031 (txt files), config file (.txt file) and .log file (log file).
I have but new SD card in but same issue.

Interesting is that map.purpleair.com it shows the data and I can download it from the graph. Guess its saves data to some server.

It looks like the sensor has been online consistently since the end of April, so all of the data is available to be retrieved––it is all safely stored in the cloud. This means you can download the data from the map graph (note that you will be limited by the average). You can also download it with any average using the API.

Unfortunately, it looks like the SD logger is not detected, so that component may have failed. If you’d like to troubleshoot it further, please email us at contact@purpleair.com.
