Poor Sensor correlation

My PA Flex ii has been wonderful, until now, I see poor A/B sensor correlation.

I have blown out the unit.. there were signs of webs in the unit.. Next step i will dismantle - as still very poor correlation. Anyone else had this?? - seems the units are very prone to dirt/spiders etc getting in.. thanks for comments, John

I have to replace the laser counters in my Zen every 12 to 18 months. It’s an easy job, shipping is fast, and I’m back up and running.

Thanks for the reply. I pulled the sensors apart and cleaned out some spider webs - not perfect now but algorithm shows 100%. But next time I will buy - thanks!

I was a little surprised, and disappointed too, when my Zen counters went out after only a year. I always start with gently blowing them out, like you, but that hasn’t really ever fixed it for me. I guess new counters once a year is what it takes to keep these going.

Do you buy them from the PA site? I probs will buy 2 just to have them ready I think..thanks.

Yes, here’s the link for the counters used in the Flex and Zen:

$55 plus the shipping gouge. Super easy to put in, especially once you’ve done it a couple times.
