Im going to install an outdoor Flex unit and would like to know if it is okay to put the sensor under my rear balcony. It is open on 3 sides. If so how far do you recommend mounting it below the balcony ceiling and how far off the 6x6 pole.?

You may want to check out the installation section of our owner’s guide.
The most important thing is to place the sensor where you want to measure air quality. If it’s going to be near the ground, try to have it far enough up that water can’t splash up inside the device.
