Hello, I was wondering what the minimum input voltage was on a PurpleAir Classic Air Quality Monitor for reliable operation, at the Micro-USB input connector. Will it work reliably down to 4.75V for example? Is the input voltage down regulated to 3.3V internally, or is the sensor 5V centric?

Hi @rcjcarr
PurpleAir sensors need 5V to work as intended. When you go below that, the sensors can begin to experience an array of issues. To run a sensor reliably, you’ll need a 5V connection with a quality cable.

Ok thanks for that. Will keep that in mind.
