Hello! I’m going to buy my first PurpleAir Touch indoor air quality monitor, and I’m wondering if I could use it to get some in-flight measurements, as I have a long trip coming. The plan would be to have external batteries, but I wanted to make sure that you feel it would work - I’m new to the PM sensors world. Thank you!
Do you mean to measure air quality INSIDE the airplane?
Outside, it isn’t going to find anything, the air is pretty clear up there, unless you’re intentionally flying through smoke plumes.

Should work, but I expect that on commercial flights you’ll find the air quality is quite clean.
