New PA-I-LED and new user. Inaccurate temperature/humidity reporting - indoor 87 deg F and 24% respectively. This is obviously wrong. This makes me think the AQ is also inaccurate. Do I have a defective unit?
It’s not a defect. The temperature and humidity data are for the sensor itself. They aren’t meant to reflect environmental readings. “Heat generated by the WiFi module causes an increase in temperature and a decrease in humidity within the housing.” This is explained here: https://community.purpleair.com/t/purpleair-sensors-functional-overview/150
