I don’t have a device but I’m getting poor air quality warnings on my Google home screen for a purpleair sensor near me. What I see on Google maps is this device PA-II-FLEX 169591
The other sensors near me are reporting air quality of 16 or 17 when this one device is showing 196. Could this sensor be excluded from reporting to my device? Could someone have put the device in a basement of a home that has bad air quality?
Hi @Roarst, in cases like these we contact the sensor owner to assist them with the issue. We have already contacted the owner for this device, and are in active communication about the readings.
Maybe the owner’s device has a bad sensor, like what could happen with a Davis weather monitor or a Lacrosse weather station. Hopefully, the issue can be resolved.
