I replaced the sensor board in my external sensor with the new board that measures VOCs. At any given time it reports a value between 7 and 180 so far. I opened a can of Minwax and placed it directly under the sensor and expected the returned VOC value to surge, but it didn’t move significantly for five minutes, polling every ten seconds. I’m using the API. Has anyone successfully tested their sensor to confirm that it responds to VOCs? If so, what did you use?
