Conclusions BME688

Hello,

I have been using my PA-II-FLEX version 7.04 for a year now, and I am wondering what conclusions can be drawn from the measurement results of the BME688. I have attached the daily average values, some of the peak loads were around 2000.

  • The values were variable,
  • always went back to zero,
  • were possibly dependent on the outside temperature.

I would be pleased to receive any information.

Good question. I am interested to hear the answer as I am thinking about replacing my old classic with one of the newer sensors. In the app, is there any comment made about relative potential effect on health related to different VOC levels detected (as exists for AQI)?

Here is a link to a SCAQMD report on the performance of the PurpleAir TVOC sensor. It might help to explain the results you’re seeing. I’ll let the report speak for itself…
