Can anyone confirm that if the PA II Flex cannot reach the internet/PurpleAir cloud servers (www.purpleair.com) it reboots endlessly roughly every ~20mins?
Had plans of using the Flex on an isolated network with no internet access so tested via blocking using local firewall and the reboots started about 20 minutes after.
Concerned the device is endlessly rebooting without an internet connection and is apparently cloud dependant. If anyone can confirm similar behavior it’d be appreciated.
If this is confirmed it seems these devices are bound to sharing data with PurpleAir, which I find concerning given recent trends with API limitations and data monetization.
