With a new update to the PurpleAir registration page, you can access settings for the LEDs on your PurpleAir devices. You can turn the LEDs on and off and change their brightness with these settings. The LEDs that can appear on a PurpleAir sensor are the full-color AQI indicator, the red power indicator, and the green and blue SD card status indicators.
The settings for the LEDs can be found in the Onboard LED Options section on the registration page. The following options in bold can be selected in the LED Mode field:
Off, NO LED’s:
This option will turn all the indicator LEDs off.
Power, SD Status Only (FLEX Sensors):
This option is only valid for PA-II-FLEX sensors. This option will turn off the full-color AQI indicator and turn on the power and SD card status indicators.
Full Color AQI Only:
This option will turn off the power and SD card status indicators and turn on the full-color AQI indicator.
Power, SD Status and Full Color AQI:
This option will turn all the indicator LEDs on.
The next field in the Onboard LED Options is LED Brightness (%) . By default, this option is set to 35. Changing this option will change the brightness of all the LEDs on your device.
