Can a PA-II be upgraded to a PA-II-Flex?

I have a 2 year old PA-II and I’d like to add the BME680 VOC sensor. Can I upgrade my current sensor or do I need to purchase a new one?

Hi @kenm, the PA-II can not be upgraded to a PA-II-FLEX. The PA-II-FLEX sensor uses a different board and components that would fully replace a PA-II sensor.

However, the BME680 can be added to an existing sensor. Please note that the readings from the VOC sensor are still experimental. It costs $30 + shipping, and you can install it yourself. If you would like a quote, please send an email to contact@purpleair.com.
