WIFI Disconnected

Just got my PurpleAir Zen. When i click my PurpleAir**** I was directed automatically to WIFI settings. after selecting my home network wifi and entered my password and save it says “WIFI Disconnected” on the top of screen. I did ALL the troubleshooting that was suggested on PurpleAir website but still couldn’t connect. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the post and welcome to the community! This issue typically occurs due to an incorrect password or an incompatible security protocol, such as WPA2-Enterprise, or WPA3, which you may have seen in our troubleshooting steps.

That being said, I can certainly take a look at your device to see some important information on our end. For further troubleshooting, could you send the device ID for your sensor to us at contact@purpleair.com? You can find this physically labeled on the device, or in the order confirmation email you’d have received. Once we have that ID, we can go from there.

I’ve already resolved the problem by changing my
15yr old router. My sensor is now active and online.
