I always thought I had a username/password for this site. I haven’t logged in in ages, but when I tried to just now, the only option seems to be signing in with Google. The “not Google” link just says all I need is an email address, but doesn’t provide any other way to log in.
So I log in with my Google account, but I have no sensors (I have 2).
I tried logging in via Google using another email address, but Google just asks for my passkey and ignores the email I give it.
Did traditional login go away? How do I get to my sensors?
Thanks for the post! To clarify, the login option that was available before on https://purpleair.com/ was simply to view order information, though we’ve supported Google login on the map specifically. Currently, you can only log in with Google across our platforms, but the feature that allows you to see your sensors is new.
If you’re not seeing your sensors listed under your account, it’s likely that the “owner’s email” that they’re registered with is different from the one you’re logging in with. We can update the owner’s email for those sensors to be the one you’re logging in with. If you’d like for us to do so, please reach out to contact@purpleair.com, let us know the device IDs for those sensors, and we can help you out.
The problem is that the email I used to register my sensors is not my Gmail address. And when I try the "Sign in with any email by linking it with Google", it just seems to latch onto my gmail address, even though I do have my other email address registered with google.
