The power consumption of PurpleAir sensors is very low. Details can be found here: PurpleAir Sensors Functional Overview.
If you have a 5-volt cable that fits the sensor, it will likely work to power it. The power supply we offer is not necessary but can prove helpful as it is outdoor rated.
