Outdoor Power supply failure (PurpleAir Recommended power supply)

Bought my sensor in Jan 2025 with the recommended outdoor power supply by Globtek.
Just noticed that my sensor was offline (and has been for 4 days) and went to investigate.

The power supply seems to have conked out. It might have got the cable rained on, but not the adapter itself. Externally it looks fine, I cannot see any damage or anything. I tried charging something from the charger plugged into another indoor plug and nothing. No juice.
I tried plugging my sensor in to an indoor phone charger with the correct voltage and power and the sensor lit up and started working. - It’s a Zen.

As there is no rain forecast for the next few days I have plugged it in temporarily outside to my phone charger so that I can give my community the data on the various maps.

I cannot work out what could have gone wrong with the original charger.
Anyone else had problems such as this of sudden charger failure?

Another thing that surprised me is that I did not receive any email telling me that my sensor had gone offline. - Is that normal?
