Hi @Mike_Boyd

I apologize for the delayed response. This isn’t exactly the intended use case for the sensor, but there are a few different things you could consider.

  1. A few of our newer models include LEDs that display the US EPA PM2.5 AQI. These would be the Touch, Flex, and Zen. The Touch and Zen will shine these LEDs through their injection-molded casing while the Flex has a single LED that shines inside the device casing. You could use these LEDs as air quality indicators offline.

  2. When not connected to an internet connection, all PurpleAir devices display a PurpleAir-**** WiFi connection. Connecting to this network pulls up a configuration portal. The LIVE tab in that portal includes real-time readings from the sensor that show both the US EPA PM2.5 AQI and raw PM1, PM2.5, and PM10 levels.

  3. SD-capable PurpleAir devices can of course collect data while offline via an SD card. This includes inserting the SD card into a computer to access the files.
