A weird band of monitors around Antartica

I wonder about a strange band of monitors that appear on the map surrounding Antarctica.
Is it really there or is it somehow an error?

Hi @Anton_Svensson_Graan, these sensors have been registered as public without a map position. While registering, there’s a checkbox labeled “Set a location on the map.” If that is not checked, the sensor will appear here.
