You may find that the PurpleAir map shows different values when viewing it in multiple places, such as on your phone and on your computer. This is due to having different options enabled on the two devices. Options such as “averaging period”, “data layer”, and “apply conversion” will display different readings. The map options can be accessed by clicking the white box shown by the red arrow in the screenshot below.
