From the screenshots provided it looks like the difference is coming from the application of a conversion factor. The data in the first screenshot is labeled “10 Minute Average US EPA PM2.5 AQI (US EPA),” while the data in the second screenshot is labeled “10 Minute Average US EPA PM2.5 AQI.”
The (US EPA) in the first screenshot indicates the US EPA conversion is applied to the data. If another conversion was applied, like AQandU, it would show as "10 Minute Average US EPA PM2.5 AQI (AQandU).
When you copy the code for the widget, it will include the conversion factor currently applied on the map. Clicking the “PurpleAir Map” button on an embedded widget will also take you to the PurpleAir map with the widget’s conversion applied.
