I’m not an Air Quality person. I’m focused on the drones over new jersey, phoenix, and much of the rest of the country. The unacknowledged ones. The ones everyone are filming under code word “Dior Bags” on TikTok. The same “Drones” the “Cybertruck Bomber” from Vegas talked about in his “Manifesto”. The “Chemical Fog” that people are taking about on social media and reported in by Daily Mail is relevant here as well.
Looking at the Purple Air real-time map, I have noticed PM2.5 goes to hell with dangerous readings in most population centers starting about an hour after sunset across the country for the past 3-4 days.
I am noticing many contrails in the sky around sunset in my area. I have been “drone hunting” the past couple of evenings and I have noticed groups of contrails in the sky. My brain wants to say-- Oh! That’s a plane!-- yet-- the “plane” has no wings. “Oh! It must be in the upper stratosphere and my eyes can’t pick it up!”-- but wait-- I can see so much detail of its contrail… It’s almost like I can see the particles assimilate into the atmosphere in full relief.
I’m really confused, but the data doesn’t lie.
I need your help. I’m not good with data manipulation. Does anyone have the tools to go into this data and see if particulates are being sprayed in any pattern across the country?
An unknown particle is being introduced after sunset in most population centers and nobody cares. It is NOT fog! It is a pollution! It is a particle! It is not water vapor! It is an unknown uniform distribution of a particle that suspends itself in the atmosphere and it is being introduced into the air over your home after sunset. WAKE UP!
check any major population center! some nights normal and some nights a huge spike in 2.5 particulates right after sunset. it is after sunset whether on the east coast or in denver. SOMETHING IS SPRAYING US WITH AN UNKNOWN AGENT.
Have you considered the possibility that the PurpleAir sensors are responding to the particulates in the smoke emitted from fireplaces that are lit at about sunset on cold winter nights?
I agree that this is a worrisome level of air pollution, especially in Denver CO. Getting up into the “orange” level of air pollution for a dozen hours per year – or even a hundred of them – isn’t a massive health risk. But air pollution was indeed dangerously high on in Denver CO on January 8 2025, so (unsurprisingly to me, but perhaps will be news to you) this was an “Action Day” during which there were “Indoor Burning Restrictions and request to limit driving gas and diesel-powered vehicles”. So… at least in Denver CO, people do care enough about dangerous particulates being sprayed into the air they breathe to do something about it!
I don’t live in your region. However online sources tell me that it was pretty cold at night in Marietta GA and Asheville NC in early January. On those cold winter nights, I’d guess that every wood-burning fireplace in those areas would be “spraying” particulates into the air – and if the wind doesn’t disperse this smoke rapidly, then yeah indeed it becomes somewhat hazardous to human health for a few hours. However I rather doubt that it’s such a big health hazard that there’d be public support for any regulation of the fireplaces which are allowed to burn wood during periods when the particulate counts are high.
