My second sensor lasted less than 2 years, located < 2 miles from the Pacific Ocean. I’d like to know if this is normal for PA sensors in salt air environments, and if any one has suggestions for more durable sensors for seaside locations?

How short of 2 years? PA website says they last about 2 years, under good conditions (not direct sun, not salt, etc…) You can replace just the sensors… you don’t have to buy a whole new monitor ( https://www2.purpleair.com/products/replacement-laser-counters?variant=40249230753889 )

Ha, my attempt to replace sensors was not successful. I would say that 14 months is about average for reliable data in salt air.
Interesting, thanks for sharing.
