While nearby sensors are showing 40+ PM 2.5 readings during a large wildfire event, one sensor among only 3 in my area is consistently showing ZERO PM2.5, consistently. Obviously these readings are erroneous. However, they appear to be averaged into the overall city readings reported on Airnow.gov, and other websites, greatly reducing the usefulness of the entire system. How can this sensor be removed from the network data until it is providing accurate data ? When will the system stop showing obviously false readings on the public map ? Sensor: KD2BVA.
