Is there a way to change the frequency in which the PurpleAir collects data? It seems like it is preset to 2 minutes, can this be lowered to 1 minute?

The logging rate is something that can be altered on the device directly, and if you’re able to connect to a computer, you can get second-by-second readings. That said, the upload rate is effectively locked to 2 minutes, due to the realities of data storage and data consistency requirements.
If you have a specific use case you’d like to discuss, please email us at contact@purpleair.com. We have occasionally been able to make limited alterations in very specific use cases, but these alterations may require setting your sensor to “private.”
