Hi all,
Like a lot of you, I set up my PurpleAir sensor and then realized the data just piles up. Every couple of minutes, another row. When I finally opened one of those export files, it was thousands of lines of numbers and I honestly had no idea what my air actually looked like over a month, or whether a spike meant anything.
So I ended up building a little tool to answer that for myself, and I figured it might save some of you the same headache.
You drop in your CSV or XLSX export and it does the rest: applies the EPA’s correction, checks that your two channels agree, and shows your daily and time-of-day patterns, how many days went over the WHO/EPA guidelines, whether the sensor is drifting, and a amazing and accurate report you can download. You can also line up a few sensors and compare them. It all runs in your browser and nothing gets uploaded or stored.
If you try it, I’d love to know what’s useful and what breaks, especially if your file format confuses it.
Hope it helps someone else the way it helped me.
