The time period on the graph is not working properly - with averaging set to “10 minutes” it shows a month of data. Trying to see a trend over the last day is almost impossible with the tweaky “two-finger pan and zoom” on an iPad.
Please give a way to specify the x-axis scale, and don’t reset the zoom as additional sensors are selected. It is frustrating when trying to use this to monitor changing smoke levels in an area.
We’re currently working on an update to the map which includes restoring the graphs to the previous time period among other changes. We don’t have a date for this, but it should arrive soon.
We’ll pass along your suggestion for specifying the x-axis to the development team.
How do you define “soon”? You’ve been saying “Arriving soon” for a couple of months. This change to the data plots makes the graphs pretty much useless. Whoever thought this period of a few months would be a good idea. Even a beginning coder could make a graph with an X-axis scaling function in a few days.
In the meantime: The EPA just updated the Fire and Smoke map to version 4. You can now click on your outdoor sensor and view graphs with time scaling similar to how the PurpleAir map used to be
Yes! This resolves my issue with the way the graphing was recently working. Thanks for solving the issue. It now is much more user friendly and looks great.
