Hi. I’m a retired air monitoring tech from Oregon DEQ, and I felt obligated to install a Purple Air sensor around the time I retired. I am used to servicing and collecting data from continuous particulate monitors such as nephelometers for smoke and aethelometers for soot, and a variety of filter collecting systems. The Plantower sensors for the PurpleAir network are an amazing accomplishment for deploying so many and coordinating all that data. Even after several years of running one I am still in a learning stage to have a good handle on problem solving with my sensor, so hoping to hang out more in the P.A. community and learn from others.
