The WiFi range is typically about 100 feet. This range can vary depending on the position of both your router and the sensor itself, along with everything that physically stands between the two. Factors such as temperature and humidity can also affect the WiFi range. Prior to mounting your sensor, using a smartphone to test your WiFi’s signal strength is one way to ensure your sensor will transmit data successfully.
