# Sensor disappears with Conversion

When AQ is great, I’ve noticed that my sensor disappears from the map. After lengthy troubleshooting, I discovered that it re-appears if I remove the Conversion. Why not just let it show a negative number or whatever?
I’d rather not wonder if I need to troubleshoot it.

Hi @coyote
This is a bug with our current map version. Because of the way the US EPA conversion works (which it sounds like you’re using), a negative result can be calculated. This can cause your sensor to appear as either having a negative value, or offline. If you are not using the US EPA conversion, please let me know. We are working on implementing a fix for this in our next map version.

I am indeed using the US EPA conversion! Great to hear the fix is under way!
