# PurpleAir Touch VOC Issues

I’m trying to figure out how to get the VOC info from my PurpleAir Touch.

There is no mention of it on the device’s page.

on the JSON view there are a lot more available fields but none of them are VOC either.

I’m wondering if I have something misconfigured on the sensor?

The VOC readings are described in the “gas\_680” field in the JSON, so it looks like your sensor is reading a value of 56.17 in the provided screenshot. Locally queried JSON fields are described in our [Local JSON Documentation](https://community.purpleair.com/t/local-json-documentation/6917).
