# No Pop-up Window after Connecting to WiFi

You’ve connected to the PurpleAir-\*\*\*\* network and have waited a few moments. However, for some reason the pop-up window (captive portal) does not open immediately after the connection. Follow this guide to connect your PurpleAir sensor to your preferred, local or personal, WiFi network.

> _The \*\*\*\* is a 2-4 character code determined by your sensor._

## Accessing the Sensor’s Hotspot Login Page

Open a new tab in a web browser. This should display a page (_Sensor’s Hotspot Login Page_) onto which you can enter your WiFi details to connect your sensor. Alternatively, open a new tab in a web browser and enter the default IP address for the sensor in the address bar: [http://192.168.4.1/config](http://192.168.4.1/config)

> This will only work if you are connected to the device’s PurpleAir-\*\*\*\* WiFi network. _If you’re doing this on your phone, you may need to first disable your mobile data._

Now that the _Sensor’s Hotspot Login Page_ has appeared, you may proceed to connect your sensor to your preferred, local or personal, WiFi network.
