# Minimizing Risk fir Existing K12 Schools Maintenance and Ongoing Support

1. Maintenance and Ongoing Support  
Ongoing maintenance and support for the MAP devices could become an issue if the vendor’s support infrastructure is not aligned with our IT team’s processes. If the devices encounter network or connectivity issues, troubleshooting could become cumbersome.  
Please address Risk statement below  
• Risk: Lack of proper vendor support could result in extended downtime for the devices, impacting the reliability of air quality monitoring and causing delays in resolving issues.

Honestly, your IT team is trying to find excuses to not do this, and have busywork around the reviews. This is not really any more complicated than adding a new wireless printer to your network - they’re looking for excuses to say no.

Fire them all and have one of your students run the network as part of AV club 🙂
