# Managing missing files from the SD card

Hello,  
I’m inquiring if I find the Purple Air Sensors never recorded any data in the sd card, is there a way to find them or retrieve it from the sd card?

Hi @KevinChess

Are there any files at all on the SD card? If there are, it is possible that data was improperly recorded to .TXT or .log files instead of .CSV.
