_Full disclosure: I’m on **Team Clear**. Bias? Crystal clear._ * * * The tech bros think a PIXEL should show its circuit board. It’s the most beautiful part of the device, hiding it is a cover-up, and we mean that literally. The accounts/admin team disagrees. Loudly. They want **White** : clean, tidy, matches the wall, and doesn’t look like somebody’s electronics project. Fair. Also wrong. Also missing the point entirely. Unfortunately, they have numbers on their side. **White PIXELs currently outsell Clear PIXELs by 2–3×.** Accounts brings this up more often than necessary. We bring up transparency more often than they can stand. One sentence is enough, we’ll be collecting the best arguments as evidence for the next office debate. 100% clear, it is super cool to be able to see the inner workings of the sensor. The transparent case gives a off a nostalgic clear gameboy look. No point in hiding the coolest part 😎 ---

Clear is clearly superior! Seeing the inner workings assures me that the PurpleAir Pixel is doing its job to help all of us CLEAR the air! P.S. Awesome easter egg! ---

White is the best choice because it looks cleaner and makes the LEDs less bright and distracting. ---

Clear is CLEARLY the best option. It clearly displays the current air quality and even transparently shows how it works! The admin team, however, may need to work on being more TRANSPARENT! ---

I’d choose White. It looks cleaner, blends better into a home, and the LEDs are less distracting. For everyday use, White just feels more polished. 🤍 ---
