# Changing location

How do I change the location of a sensor on themap ?

Hi Eric,

You can update your sensor’s map location by resubmitting a [registration form](https://www.purpleair.com/register).

To simplify the process, you can check your email for the confirmation email you’d have received after registering the sensor, which will have a “Useful Links” section containing a link to modify the registration. This will fill out all the fields with current registration details, so you can just update the “Map Location” field.
